*I wanted to share some tools that may help when scrambling in the early morning to come up with some lesson plans if you or a loved one isn't feeling their best.

Magic School AI has some amazing tools, and "Raina" a chatbot assistant that can help you in the development of lesson plans. You can enter text and have questions generated within seconds. Play around with some of these tools!
Also, an unexpected absence may be a good day for students to sharpen their knowledge of current events. If you head over to the LLC Website and click on "NewsBank", you will find a new daily lesson plan everyday that includes a current event article and lots of questions for students to respond to. I attached today's lesson to this email (and there is a full archive of lesson plans which can be sorted by curricular area.)

*Matt Miller is an educational technology expert that I met at ISTE. He has a great podcast and website and also has a website https://teachflix.org/ with a curated collection of educational videos by topic and grade level. Here is a link to slides that he also created with activities to use with any types of videos in the classroom.

All you need to do is type in any topic, term or question, pick a grade level and generate. You can also have the work translated into various languages if you have ELL students in class.
