What Technology is needed at home to access assignments in the digital classroom?
Students will need access to an Internet connected device. If using an iPad, iPhone, or Android device, Google Classrooms requires downloading a free app from the App Store (iPad or iPhone) or the the Google Play Store (Android device).

If using a laptop or desktop, Google Classrooms are accessed from a web browser, preferably Chrome.
What is Google Classroom?
Classroom works with G Suite applications (Docs, Forms, Slides, etc. . . ) so teachers can assign work to students. Teachers can attach videos, documents, links, and images to their assignments. Activity is online using a computer or mobile device.
Teachers can see when students have access to assignments and their attachments.
Students sign in to Classroom using their school email account. They can see their upcoming work and complete it online. When a student turns in work, the teacher sees it on the Stream page.

Google Classroom has an app for both Android and iOS that you can download to your smartphone or tablet. With it, you can do some of the things you can do through a Web browser, but not everything.
