Mrs. Lanciloti

Selected work from K-3 Artists

Mrs. Lanciloti

Dana Lanciloti is an artist and educator who has taught K-3 art at Woodland School and sections of 5th grade art at Field School since 2016. For the 2022-2023 school year, Dana is teaching PreK, K ,1st, and 2nd grade art at Woodland School and Country School. Dana received her BFA (1992) from the University of Michigan and her MA in Art Education (1995) from New York University, and has taught art in a variety of public and private settings to preschoolers through adults, with a few breaks to travel, work with study abroad programs, and raise a family. Teaching children inspires Dana most because children tend to be naturally open to art, new ideas, and experimenting with materials. Her students’ sense of humor and eagerness to learn motivate and influence Dana’s own art as well. Dana can most often be found in either the Woodland School or Country School art room, painting in her home studio, reading anywhere, and driving her children to various activities.
