Alpha Adventures is a snowboarding class for FRESHMAN ONLY. No experience needed, everyone is learning together and we have lessons on the mountain. In the fall, we prepare for snowboarding that is scheduled in the spring. We go up to Arapahoe Basin Ski area for 5 Wednesdays in a row to learn snowboarding and core values.

During 1st semester, we meet weekly after school to learn the following core values that we will apply to snowboarding (and later to LIFE!):
- Courage
- Discipline
- Integrity
- Wisdom
- Compassion
- Humility
During 2nd semester, we will take five snowboarding trips!

This is a great program for students who want to develop personal growth through snowboarding! Most students have never been on a snowboard before this class!
This class is for 9th graders - however, previous participants can apply to be student leaders (leaders must meet academic eligibility requirements).

There is a $200 fee that covers lessons, lift tickets, gear, clothing, bus ride and lunch. Fundraising opportunities are available to help students cover this cost.
