Our Welding program gives students hands-on experience in key welding processes, including gas metal arc welding, thermal cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, flux cored arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and oxy fuel cutting and welding.
It is an intense program that is primarily lab based and focuses on developing critical welding skills, including safety, torch cutting processes, proper arc welding equipment setup, control techniques, and basic welding metallurgy. Students also gain knowledge in blueprint reading, metal types and the welding applications to use with them, metal cutting and fabrication tools, welding positions, and weld inspection and testing.
