Intro to Programming

CSC 119

Focuses on a general introduction to computer programming. Emphasizes the design and implementation of structured and logically correct programs with good documentation. Focuses on basic programming concepts, including numbering systems, control structures, modularization, and data processing. A structured programming language is used to implement the student's program designs.

Special Considerations about this program/class: There is an online component - students should have access to a computer at home.

Prerequisite: Application and district approval. Students need to be on-track to graduate and have strong attendance. Students need to meet FRCC testing requirement (if applicable).

Concurrent Enrollment Process:

Attend informational meeting held every September/October and March/April.
Complete a Front Range Community College application
Take the Accuplacer Exam
Submit district paperwork
If approved, register for your class
