Intro to PC Applications

CIS 118

This course introduces basic computer terminology, file management, and PC system components. Provides an overview of office application software including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation graphics. Includes the use of a web browser to access the Internet.

Prerequisite: Application and district approval. Students need to be on-track to graduate and have strong attendance. Students need to meet FRCC testing requirement (if applicable).

Concurrent Enrollment Process:

Attend informational meeting held every September/October and March/April.
Complete a Front Range Community College application
Take the Accuplacer Exam
Submit district paperwork
If approved, register for your class
