Intro to Computer Information Systems

CIS 115

Focuses on an overview of the needs for and roles of computer information systems. Emphasizes computer requirements in organizations, history, hardware functions, programming, systems development, and computer operations. Introduces computer applications.

Prerequisite: Application and district approval. Students need to be on-track to graduate and have strong attendance. Students need to meet FRCC testing requirement (if applicable).

Concurrent Enrollment Process:

Attend informational meeting held every September/October and March/April.
Complete a Front Range Community College application
Take the Accuplacer Exam
Submit district paperwork
If approved, register for your class
