INtro to Chemistry I

CHE 101
Includes the study of measurements, atomic theory, chemical bonding, nomenclature, stoichiometry, solutions, acid and base, gas laws, and condensed states. Laboratory experiments demonstrate the above concepts qualitatively and quantitatively. Designed for non-science majors, students in occupational and health programs, or students with no chemistry background.
Prerequisite: Application and district approval. Students need to be on-track to graduate and have strong attendance. Students need to meet FRCC testing requirement (if applicable).

Concurrent Enrollment Process:
Attend informational meeting held every September/October and March/April.
Complete a Front Range Community College application
Take the Accuplacer Exam
Submit district paperwork
If approved, register for your class
