Learn the basics of working in a medical office, including important administrative tasks and medical terms. You’ll study the body’s major systems, common illnesses, and how different medicines work to treat them. This course also covers how the body works normally, what happens when things go wrong, and how doctors diagnose and treat health problems. It’s a great starting point for students interested in healthcare careers.
Prerequisite (classes you must take first): Completion of Eng/Lang 2 and Integrated Math 2 (or equivalent)

This course will be offered at the new Ranum campus beginning in the Fall of 2025. Students will be provided one-way transportation and the course will be double-blocked in either the morning or afternoon. Students will sign a contract committing to participation in the entirety of the course.
Students may be able to earn core credit through engagement in these courses.
