Working with DNA to diagnose human diseases
Genetic engineering of bacteria to glow like a type of jellyfish
Investigating the impact of pollution on human health
Collecting and analyzing scientific data about diseases and disorders
Discovering the cause of a mystery illness in another country

This class would be a great option for any student who is interested in a career in the medical, health care, or bioscience field. This course would also be a great experience for any student who enjoys hands-on learning, laboratory experiments, and solving problems using innovation and exploration.
This course will be offered at the new Ranum campus beginning in the Fall of 2024. Students will be provided one-way transportation and the course will be double-blocked in either the morning or afternoon. Students will sign a contract committing to participation in the entirety of the course.
Students may be able to earn core credit through engagement in these courses.
