This class is excellent for anyone interested in mental health/counseling as well as ANYONE who will need to de-escalate people who may be in crisis, such as police officers, EMT, healthcare workers, education, etc.
This course will be offered at Hidden Lake Secondary School. Students will be provided one-way transportation and the course will be double-blocked in the afternoon.
With successful completion of both classes in this pathway, students will a microcredential in Behavioral Health. They can continue taking college classes to earn additional certificates and degrees OR go directly to work!
