Come play the guitar! Musicians of all levels are welcome! These classes also serve as an entry point into our Mariachi classes.
Guitar 1
Learn the basics of music and guitar-playing techniques such as strumming and chords!
Prerequisite (classes you must take first): None
Guitar 2
Explore intermediate techniques to play songs of increasing difficulty!
Prerequisite (classes you must take first): Guitar 1 or teacher approval
Advanced Guitar
Practice advanced skills allowing you greater flexibility to play and create in any style you choose! Students in advanced guitar will also regularly perform for school, district, and community functions!

Students will learn new songs and are graded through solos, duets, small group performances and a class recital.

This class is for anyone interested in learning how to play the guitar! It's ok if you've never played one or if you've been playing for years. We take students of ALL levels!

Don't have a guitar? Don't worry! We do have guitars available to borrow in class!
It's GREAT if you have a good ear for music and picking up new songs, however, students will be expected to learn how to read music in this class.
Students who have already taken Guitar or have experience playing the guitar already should consider Guitar 2 and Advanced Guitar.
