One of my biggest strengths is video. One of the biggest differences is the transition to work from school. In school I would shoot the footage and edit it with a clear deadline and a rubric to work off of. With work I do not always get to edit my footage, I do not have set deadlines, and I do not have a rubric only expectations. Sometimes at work I would have to film and edit on the spot and other times I got time to plan. One big difference is not having a syllabus so there is no time to plan ahead I would be told on the jobsite what I had to do and when they needed it. I could not have handled the stress from these changes without having a developed skill set from college. Another big challenge that I never had to think about was where the video was being posted and who the target audience was. The format of the video and the style changed once I started working.
