NCEA Level 1 Digital Technology achievement standards will enable students to develop skills and knowledge of tools and techniques in three areas:
Database - Students will learn database techniques and will learn to build a database system.
Programming & Computer Science - Students will learn problem-solving and programming skills to develop an algorithm & create a computer program using Python.
Web Design - Students will learn to code web pages using HTML & CSS.
Digital Outcome & Process - Students will implement basic procedures to produce a professional digital outcome through coding a website using HTML and CSS and integrating other media such as photos, animation & 3D modelling.
