I'm Kirah Amaral, but you might know me as Maestra Amaral/Cooper. I've been teaching for 12 years, 6 of which have been here at Westlake. I have had many of your older students while teaching Spanish here from 2021-2025. This is my 2nd year teaching 5th grade.

I live with my husband, my son, and our kitties. My hobbies include reading, writing, baking, going on walks and learning new languages. I love trivia and my goal this school year is to inspire your child to love learning.
