Week 18
Happy Friday, Explorer families!
We hope you enjoyed a restful and fun winter break with your families. We are in full swing already in 2026! Our schoolwide core value for the month of January is Inquiry. In our Math classes, we started laying the foundation for the students to add and subtract by counting groups of numbers. In Phonics, we continue to explore sounding out letter sounds and blending them together to make CVC words. Students also started to develop their opinions and express them in writing by using the phrase “I like_____”. Finally in Science, we observed the weather and started to chart it using our detective skills.
