I graduated from UC Davis with a Genetics degree and received my Masters in Teaching from USF.  This is my 5th year of teaching. I am a huge advocate for social justice, and I’m on a mission to bring diversity and inclusiveness to the classroom. I grew up in the underserved community where I lived off of food stamps and section 8 housing, so my heart goes out to all my disadvantaged students. 

My goal is to bridge the gap between poverty and higher education by providing resources and opportunities to my students. I want to be a voice for minority students as I stand proud as an Asian American teacher.
