Activities include reenacting artistry and technical skills (known as arts and sciences), combat arts (Heavy Rattan and Rapier Combat), feasts, educational workshops, and many more. Members are recognized for their service and accomplishments within the arts, sciences, martial prowess, and service, by their peers and the Crown.

The SCA is a non-profit group and all members are voluntarily participating. All members events are actively recreating and learning history, each focusing on particular aspects of pre-17th century history. Newcomers are welcome and garb (period appropriate clothing) can be provided for your first few events until you have borrowed, obtained, or made your own.
