Virtual 12th Night Information

Greetings Westerners near and far. Our beloved 12th Night approaches and no plague nor pestilence can keep us from finding ways to come together in joyful camaraderie.

Their Majesties Uther and Vera wish to call a virtual gathering to celebrate the great spirit of their kingdom. All are invited to set a feast table and join their Majesties for court via YouTube.. Following court their Majesties will host a cocktail hour to get everyone in mood for a raucous (or dignified as your disposition dictates) evening of celebration. A virtual Hafla will be hosted by the Caravansary, and a lively bardic by the Bard of the West.

But, really, what’s 12^th Night without party hopping? There will be several parties (with awesome hosts) set up via Zoom and Discord so that folks can move between spaces and visit with distant friends.

Looking for some action earlier in the day? Her Majesty Vera will kick off the day with her first monthly Queen's QuaranTea at 10am Pacific Time (-8 UTC), then if you like, tune into Saga Saturday at 11am. Dancing will start at 2pm Pacific Time (-8 UTC), a Great Garb Exchange contest will take place throughout the day and our amazing merchants will be hosting a virtual merchant’s row via the West Kingdom VIRTUAL EVENT Merchants’ Row Facebook group.

Please Note:

Court will be held at 5pm Pacific Time (-8 UTC). Please set your table, create what feast fits you, and join the court via YouTube. A list of those requested to attend via Zoom will be published on the day of the event. If you are in Zoom attendance, please keep your camera off and microphone muted unless “called into court”.

Feeling intimidated by virtual events? We’ll offer a few getting “getting comfortable with tech” events prior to 12^th Night via the SCA Virtual Classroom, keep an eye out for links shared to the Kingdom Facebook group.
