Announcement of Crown Tournament Format
Be it known to the populace of the West that the upcoming Crown Tournament shall be fought as a standard double-elimination tournament.
All combatants are reminded that victory is achieved through skill, honor, and perseverance, for defeat once does not end the day, only upon a second loss is a fighter removed from contention.
Let all who enter the field come prepared to test their prowess, uphold the chivalric ideals of the West, and strive for the honor of the Crown.
Further details and scheduling shall be announced in due course.
The Tournament of the Roses
Hear now of the Tournament of the Roses, which shall be contested in the noble and time-honored custom long cherished in the West. Upon the moment of defeat, the vanquished combatant shall lay aside their arms and, in due courtesy, present themselves before the Queen. There, in her grace and favor, shall she bestow upon them a rose... not as a token of loss, but as a sign of honor earned upon the field.
Bearing this bloom, the defeated fighter shall then go forth, at the direction of the victor, and present the rose to the consort of the victor’s choosing. Thus are courtesy, beauty, and chivalry woven directly into the clash of arms, and thus does the living pageantry of the West shine forth. In this way, every blow struck serves not only prowess, but the spirit of the day, reminding all who witness it that honor may yet bloom, even in defeat.
