We are part of the Society of Creative Anachronism, which is divided into 20 large kingdoms throughout the world.
Our fair shire is within the boarders of the Kingdom of the West, and covers East Contra Costa and South East Alameda Counties in California.

What is the Society for Creative Anachronism
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international non-profit volunteer educational organization. The SCA is devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities.
Shire Activities
Shire Activities
Our Shire has two regularly occurring activities: Arts and Fighter practice and a monthly business meeting. Once per quarter, we hold a practice tournament during our Monday night fighter practice in Dublin, CA.
Teufelberg also hosts an event called Wargy once a year in the spring. Our next Wargy will be April 5th of 2025. Wargy is a day event focused on large group melees for both armored and rapier combat. Historical arts and sciences classes are taught through out the day as well.
