Fighting

Whether it is fully armored fighting clashing on the field or daring swashbucklers dueling with rapiers, one of the first things people notice about us is the fighting. Not only does it look thrilling, it is real fun to do. And any adult can try it. 

We have loaner gear for both rapier and heavy fighters. Just ask an officer,

Many of us also train in Olympic style fencing. The good thing is you are invited there too.  Join us on Monday and Wednesday nights (6:00 pm) at Faith Lutheran Church-LCMS (2500 Sunset Dr, Juneau, AK )

SCA Rapier starts at 7:30 on Wednesdays.

Building heavy armor and fighter practice is on Tuesday afternoon, starting at 4pm and goes until 8pm. No experience necessary. You don't even have to fight. You can just pop by and say "Hello!"

The Juneau Archery Range is open to the public on Thursday evenings. Many SCA members go to hone their archery skills.
