Nestled in the scenic Matanuska-Susitna Valley located in the Principality of Oertha (Alaska), the Barony of Selviergard is situated between the Barony of Winter's Gate to the North and the Barony of Eskalya to the South. The Barony occupies the region of Alaska north of Eagle River to just south of Denali and to the East as far as Valdez.

Baronesses Anastasia and Lyneya welcome you to our little corner of the Internet.
The Barony of Selviergard is the local branch of a worldwide Medieval Reenactment organization called The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). We invite you to explore the many pages on this website. Inside you will find more information on The Society for Creative Anachronism as a whole and especially the activities happening in the Mat-Su Valley and Chugiak/Eagle River area of Alaska. The SCA is a place to explore your creative side through arts, crafts, bardic performances, dancing and so much more. The SCA is also a place to challenge yourself and others through physical feats such as armored sword fighting, rapier fighting, archery and thrown weapons.
We invite you to join us at Wonder Land Park in Wasilla for a local Fighter Practice on Sunday from 1-3pm or at MJ Cards and Games off Bogard on Wednesday between 6-8pm for an Arts and Sciences night.
If a bigger event is more your speed, check the Events & Activities page for one of the many Events held throughout the year. An Event is a great opportunity to dress up in your medieval garb, watch some fighting, eat some tasty food, learn new things and overall have a good time.
