Sharpen your blades and steady your steeds! Whether you are a seasoned cavalier or a rider just beginning your equestrian journey in the SCA, this event is designed to immerse you in the art of the medieval hunt. Join us for a day of skill-building, camaraderie, and tradition.

### What to Expect

This workshop focuses on the practical application of mounted weaponry and the essential skills required for a successful hunt. Highlights include:

• Countryside Riding: Navigate varied terrain to build confidence and coordination with your mount.

• Targeting Drills: Practice with swords, arrows, javelins, and lances against both stationary and mobile "mock-game."

• Packing & Transport: Learn the logistics of the hunt with hands-on practice in packing mock-game for transport.

• Revelry & Community: Wind down after a day in the saddle with our traditional end-of-day celebration.

### The Picnic Potluck

No hunt is complete without a feast! We will conclude the day with a potluck picnic. Please bring a dish to share as we gather to swap stories of the day's triumphs and celebrate our progress.

Want to wake up on-site? Reserve your horse camping directly through Skyline Wilderness park.  HC site 01-03 include pipe corrals.  HC 06 and up include space to set up your own pens or highlines.  All sites include trailer parking and water.  See the Park Website for specifics and reservations.
