Fall Crown Tournament and Coronation
Notice: Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to try to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. Welcome to Fall Crown and Coronation
The plague has lifted and the Crown wishes to determine Their Heirs who will step up on Monday! They are also planning many fun activities – details to follow!
Date: Friday September 3rd, 2021 to Monday September 6th, 2021 in Tres Pinos, CA
Start Time: Site opens at NOON on Friday and closes at 4 PM on Monday
Location: San Benito County Fairgrounds (9000 Airline Hwy, Tres Pinos CA 95075)
Pre registration is required, registration is closed.
Mask Requirement
Masks will be required in all public area (anything outside your personal encampment) regardless of vaccination status. Please see the announcement from their Majesties for additional details.

Notes for this event:
1) You MUST have been pre registered to attend. Pre reg closed 8/18
2) You MUST still check in at gate, this is even more important than the important it already is, for contract tracing.
3) Event opens Noon Friday, closes 4pm Monday.
4) Gate hours: Friday, Noon-10pm Saturday, 8am-Midnight Sunday 9am -1pm
5) Dogs: Allowed as long as they are current with their vaccinations, leashed/attached to a human or immovable object and under control.
6) Fire: No wood fire, propane only, no open flame candles. No unattended flame. Constables will be checking for fire extinguishers See West Kingdom fire laws Here https://westkingdom.org/wk_firepolicy.htm
7) Trash: Please do not overflow the trash receptacles. Event staff will have plenty of garbage bags, please let us know if a trash can is full. We have use of the dumpster, please do not abuse this privilege. Do not put anything on the ground around the dumpster. Put it in or take it with you.

9) Alcohol: Please be reminded that this is a discretely wet. Please do not leave your alcohol lying about… someone may abscond with it. Please be considerate when disposing glass containers of any type.
10) Water: There is potable water on site
11) Privies: There will be porta potties in addition to the stone privs. There will not be any pumping during the event. Please let the event staff know if the porta’s are in need of attention. DO NOT dump anything but human waste in the portas. DO NOT wash your dishes hair or anything other than your hands in the stone privs or the handwashing stations.
12) Vehicles: Are allowed on the grass area for loading and unloading ONLY. Pull up, unload/load and park/leave. If asked to move by event staff, please do so.

14) Smoking: please follow west Kingdom policy section 10 here https://www.westkingdom.org/kingdom-information/laws-kingdom-west?fbclid=IwAR2-1DMNLWvrx9POdtLmHCGS78LjKsNzaJQr6RPFQBhUmG6suxJ0QWlIKbI. No smoking in public places, including Cannabis which, while “locally acceptable” still remains federally illegal and could lead to the loss of the ability to use this site. Please be kind, we have several people who are sensitive even life threateningly allergic to smoke.
15) Ropes: Please remember to flag your ropes and do not place them in marked off walkways, so that people do not trip on them in the dark
16) Please help the even staff by policing your camp area before leaving, we pride ourselves on “leaving the site cleaner than we found it” If you don’t do it, the event staff will have to .
