Committee on Preschool Special Education
The Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) provides special education services to children ages 3-5 who mee the state qualifications. A parent may request a referral for their child to be evaluated by sending an email with the following information:
child's full name
child's date of birth
address
phone number
parent/guardian's name
a statement explaining the reason for the referral
Following receipt of the referral, the parent/guardian will receive communication from the Special Education office.

Preschool special education services are provided by agencies who have approved contracts with the Onondaga County Health Department. Services may include:
Special education teacher services
Occupational therapy
Physical therapy
Speech/language therapy
Teacher of the Visually Impaired
Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Educational Audiology
Parent Counseling and Training
