The four year graduation rate will increase from the previous year, including all sub-groups.
The percent of students earning a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation and/or Regents Diploma with an endorsement in Career and Technical Education will grow by two percent or more.

For the 2026-2027 school year, the district will increase the sense of student belonging and student engagement by 5 percentage points as measured by the annual school climate survey using the 2023-24 results as a baseline.
Action Steps
Review, select, and implement evidence-based SEL curricula and programs to foster social-emotional competencies, such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
Provide professional development for teachers and staff on building positive teacher-student relationships, culturally responsive teaching practices, and strategies for increasing student engagement.
Establish mentoring programs, peer support groups, and other initiatives to help students, particularly those from marginalized groups, feel more connected and supported within the school community.
Review and revise school policies and practices related to discipline, bullying, and school safety to ensure they are equitable, restorative, and promote a positive school climate.
Encourage student voice and leadership by involving students in decision-making processes, school improvement efforts, and the planning of school activities and events.
Strengthen family and community partnerships by increasing communication, offering resources and workshops, and creating opportunities for families to be involved in the school.

Action Steps
Consider alternatives to scheduling to support all students to help them meet essential standards within the school day at CMS and WGHS.
Consider transitioning to Standards-Based (Equity-Based) Grading at WGIS, CMS, and WGHS, and continue to fine-tune equitable grading practices at all buildings.
Review and fine-tune course-selection recommendation practices at CMS and WGHS for academically advanced classes.
Improve data collection practices for participation rates in extracurricular activities and clubs via the district's Student Information System.
Continue to provide impactful professional learning for educators around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
