Classroom Expectations:

• Be Respectful and Think Positive.

Since this course will focus on diverse belief systems and traditions you need to show RESPECT for everyone’s beliefs, especially in class discussions. The most important principle that our classroom will operate on is integrity. Behaving with integrity means assuming responsibility for your actions, treating others with the respect you would want to be treated with.

• Please do not distract or disrupt others during Live Sessions.

Learning is our top priority and time is especially precious. There is no time for distracting behaviors so please avoid class disruptions during live sessions. If you are unable to follow the guidelines then school issued consequences and a phone call home will follow. When in doubt - think first and then ask.

• Phones are to be away unless otherwise directed during live sessions. This is for your health, safety, and concentration.

• Academically Responsible

  • Please log into Google Classroom every day.

  • Complete the daily attendance poll (even on remote days).

  • If you are having difficulty meeting a due date, please communicate directly with me as soon as possible and prior to any due dates or deadlines.

  • Please make sure your notifications for Google Classroom are on for all classes so you are receiving any information that is posted.
