I've been teaching first grade for 22 years and it is the BEST JOB EVER!! I love getting to know my first graders and their families. I get to teach kids to read and write, add and subtract. I enjoy sharing stories with students and helping kiddos learn new things. I cannot imagine a better job and love coming to school every day!

When I'm not at school, I love to spend time with my family. I have two children. My daughter Abby is 18 and my son Jack is almost 12. We have a dog named Max and two cats named Milo and Zoe. Our family likes to go on hikes and have family movie nights. I love to read and take pictures. I love to do craft projects and bake cookies too. Check out the list to see some of my favorite things.
