The CMS Health Office is here to support student health, so they can remain in the classroom for instruction. Here is some important information regarding keeping students safe and healthy at school.
1. Keep your children home if they are sick with fever, cold symptoms, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
2. Students with symptoms of COVID-19 will be sent home from school and are required to get a COVID-19 test. This is a Department of Health mandate. We are recommending your own physician evaluation and testing, or Community Upstate Hospital for testing, which open at 8:00. Results are known in 24 hours.
3. Students may return to school when a negative COVID-19 test has been determined.
4. Please send in a copy of the COVID-19 test to the Health Office for verification.
5. Other questions regarding COVID-19 can be answered by your Health Office staff at (315) 672-3426.
6. Student safety is our concern ,and we encourage all students to wear a face mask during school hours while inside the building.
7. Excuses for gym must be written by your student's doctor.
8. If your student requires medication at school, please contact Mrs. Shanahan.
