In this module, you will learn how Flipgrid works and will integrate it into a lesson plan.

  • Create a Flipgrid account, set up a Grid and manage Grid settings
  • Create and share a Flipgrid video discussion topic
  • Reply to a classmate's Flipgrid video discussion topic
  • Transform a traditional lesson by strategically integrating Flipgrid to task students with sharing video responses to your prompts.

TASKS

    • Visit Flipgrid and sign-up for free with your school-issued Google account.
    • Create a grid and a topic relevant to your subject/grade level and share the link in your discussion post.
    • Reply to a classmate's Flipgrid topic with a video response to their prompt.
    • Transform a lesson plan by tasking your students with responding to your Flipgrid topic.
    • Optional: Add a Topic to the Flipgrid Disco Library
    • Optional: Connect with another teacher via #GridPals
    • Optional: Create a Mix Tape of exemplary student responses
