The Parapsychology Association is a US based organization that supports academic research into subjective paranormal phenomena. The Association hosts an annual convention where international researchers share their research findings. The next meeting will take place in Sydney, Australia in August 2026. Society for Psychical Research
The Society for Psychical Research was founded in 1886, and is a society for people who are involved in research into psychic phenomena. The SPR also publishes a journal, the Journal of the Society for Psychical research as well as a magazine - the Paranormal Review. The SPR hosts an annual conference in the UK, where international researchers share their research findings. There are several levels of membership for this organization.
The Parapsychology foundation was begun by Eileen Garrett, a famous medium who wanted to apply scientific study to her experiences.
This is a research center that focuses on the academic study of subjective paranormal phenomena The Rhine Research Center is successor to the Duke Parapsychology lab, where academic parapsychology began in the 1930's with Dr.'s J.B. and Louisa Rhine.
The Windbridge Research Center
From their website "The Windbridge Research Center is an Arizona nonprofit corporation with IRS 501(c)(3) status whose mission is to ease suffering around dying, death, and what comes next by performing rigorous scientific research and sharing the results and other customized content with practitioners, clinicians, scientists, and the general public. Currently, our research is mainly focusing on people who report experiencing regular communication with the deceased (mediums) and those who receive mediumship readings (sitters)". British Psychological Society Transpersonal Section
Transpersonal psychology explores the spiritual aspects of human nature and consciousness. The British Psychological Society has a section that supports academic research into this area of psychology. There is an annual conference in the UK where researchers share their findings on topics related to spirituality and psychological growth.
Dr. Dean Radin is the senior scientist at the Institute for Noetic Sciences in California. He has a long career in studying consciousness, its capacity and its application.

Society for Scientific Exploration
