The Careers Online Workshop Series helps students choose careers and prepare successful job applications. No preparation is needed to attend any of the workshops, however, for best results, it is ideal if you can attend most if not all of the workshops. The workshops cover how to choose careers, how to build good resumes, write good resumes, write good cover letters, and how to succeed in job interviews. As part of the series, we will also hear from guest speakers such as recent UWG alumni discussing their transitions to the workforce, community leaders on how to be a good leader and what supervisors value in employees, as well as from more local employers on what they look for in job applications.

No preparation is needed to attend any of the workshops, however, for best results, it is ideal if you can attend most if not all of the workshops. The workshops cover how to identify graduate programs that suit you best, how to build and write a good CV, and how to write good personal statements/statements of interest. As part of the series, we will also hear from guest speakers such as recent UWG alumni discussing their transitions to and experience in MA programs
