Week of May 24th.

Dear Families,

Phonics: Students will learn about the last syllable type: consonant-le syllable. Trick Words: trouble, couple, and young.

Reading: Students will continue to explore important ideas in a fiction story and make inferences to think about what's important in the story and the story’s message.

Writing: Students will present their culture research projects.

Math: Students will continue to use various strategies for solving multi-digit addition and subtraction story problems, as well as money story problems.

Social Studies: In addition to finishing their culture research project, students will be learning about economics. This week students will learn about scarcity and production and consumption.
