Choice Boards

Dear WPS Community,

WPS has developed district-wide curriculum enrichment opportunities to support students get through this unexpected and abrupt change to their education. The enrichment resources on this site are not meant to be a replacement for instruction; as we do not believe any virtual option can take the place of face-to-face interactions between students and teachers. Students will not be required to complete and submit work products and, therefore, will not be graded on them. However, when applicable, we encourage students to share their products with their teachers so the teachers can provide thoughtful feedback to maintain their connection with students.

The activity choices are a combination of digital and non-digital resources to help families create an environment at home where learning can be kept alive and a sense of routine can be achieved. Please know that if the school closure extends longer than expected, we may be adjusting accordingly and will communicate any anticipated changes to you.

Many of the digital resources made available are already familiar to our students. You will also see that we grouped the activities by grade band to not overwhelm families as they search out enriching things to do. You may have already found your own enrichment activities that meet the needs and interests of your family.
