Concert Bands
The Westford Academy Concert ensembles are part of the Westford K-12 music curriculum and include the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble.
The ensembles rehearse during the school day and approximately twice per month in the evening to meet performance requirements. Students are eligible to receive CP or Honors credit for their participation in these groups.
Percussion students new to performing ensembles are welcome to join the Fall Semester class - Elements of Percussion!
These ensembles perform regularly in Winter and Spring concerts at Westford Academy and combine with the middle school bands for collaborative music making throughout the year!
The Concert and Symphonic bands also travel to compete in the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors' Association (MICCA) Concert Festival.
