Meet the Staff:
Ms. Magovern, Library Media Specialist, smagovern@westfordk12.us
Mrs. Newark, Library Assistant , snewark@westfordk12.us
Welcome! The Robinson School Library serves approximately 350 students in grades K-2, the staff and the Robinson School community. The collection has approximately 12,000 materials including books, periodicals, audio books, DVDs and videos that are maintained by the Destiny online catalog. The collection has been developed to support the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and to foster a love of reading.
Students come to the library once each week with their class at a regularly scheduled time. During this time students may choose a book and keep it for one week. If the book is not returned, students will need to wait until it is returned to take out a new book. Overdue notices will be sent out once the book is two weeks overdue.
When a book is returned, students may, then, select a new book. The library is open every morning at the beginning of school for the exchange of materials. This includes the exchange of an overdue book as well as the return of books finished before the scheduled library time.
If a book is lost, please communicate with the library staff to make arrangements regarding replacement cost. Of course, we will reimburse you for a book that is paid for and found at a later date.
