Select "Join this Relay"
Important: The Team Captain will be responsible for communicating with teammates.
WA's Relay for Life club will communicate with team captains periodically and prior to the event.
Step 2: Adding members/joining an existing team
Go to WA's Relay for Life event page
Step 3: Team fundraising
Start early!
Share your team's page with family, friends, and coworkers
Create fun events (think: car wash, lemonade sales, pancake breakfast)
Keep an eye out for team challenges to win free team supplies (like free tshirts, pizza party, luminarias, et cetera!)
Step 4: Other ways to get involved
Buy luminarias
Consider joining the survivor's lap or caregiver's lap
Step 5: Event planning
The goal is to have at least 1 person from your team walking the track at all times
It might be helpful to create "shifts" for teammates
Bring activities/snacks/tent for teammates who are not actively walking
