Nabnasset School Library

Welcome ~ Here's a snapshot of the Nab Library!

The Nabnasset School Library serves approximately 325 students in grades PreK-2, as well as the Nabnasset School Staff, and the Nabnasset School Community.

The collection has approximately 12,680 books that can be searched using the Destiny Online Catalog.

The collection has been developed to support the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, to foster a love of reading and to support the twenty-first century skills of cooperation, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking.

Hours: The Nabnasset School Library is open from 9:00-3:00 Monday through Friday.

Lending Policy:

Students come to the library once each week with their class at a regularly scheduled time. During this time, Kindergarten and Grade 1 students may borrow one book, and Grade 2 students may borrow 2 books. The books can be kept for one week. If the book(s) are not returned, students will need to wait until it is returned to take out a new book. Overdue notices will be sent out for books that are overdue.

We understand that sometimes books get lost or damaged ~ it has happened to us too! Please communicate with the library staff to make arrangements regarding replacement costs.
