Congratulations to sophomore trombonist Alyssa Prew for being accepted into the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project for Band! More than 1,300 students from across the state auditioned for 430 available positions across five different performance ensembles in vocal and instrumental music. Students accepted into this group are identified as among the premier high school musicians in the state of Wisconsin.

To ensure that all students have opportunities which encourage lifelong involvement in music, Wisconsin School Music Association will provide statewide music programming activities, offer leadership and support for school music programs, and advance music as an integral part of the school curriculum and community life.
