We hopped on our make believe plane and traveled around the world to learn what other winter holidays are celebrated.

One of our stops was Sweden where we learned that Santa Claus is a gnome. So, the class created their own gnomes. 

We traveled to Israel and learned about Hanukkah. Two of our class moms came in the share their customs with us. The class learned how to play dreidel.

Back on the plane and off to India to learn about Diwali. A few of our class moms visited to share their customs and traditions with us. The class made a fun craft.
