Superintendent Search

At the January 19, 2021 Board of Education virtual meeting, Westfield Superintendent of Schools Dr. Margaret Dolan announced that she will retire as of July 1, 2021. On Thursday, February 4, 2021, the Board of Education held a special meeting to appoint a consulting firm to conduct the search for a new superintendent. After meeting in private session for an hour and a half to review proposals, the Board returned to public session, awarding the contract, not to exceed $15,000, to the New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA).
