Welcome to my Health 9 Hybrid Learning Page.
The Hangouts Meet code will be on each classes Google Classroom. My students will also be able to access the Webex meetings on Google classroom. We will be using both platforms for hybrid learning this marking period.
STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
General:
Students are responsible for arriving at all classes with a charged device (both virtual and in-person) and headphones that connect to their computer.
Attendance is required for all class meetings, both virtual and in-person. All school attendance policies apply to both virtual and in-school classes, including situations in which students do not return to class.
Students will review self-management tips for working from home, provided on the high school website.
Students must use their school email and credentials for all academic endeavors.
Academic integrity will be expected and enforced through all classes.
Virtual
Before Class Begins:
Students will gather all materials needed for class.
Students will dress appropriately as if they are attending an in-person class.
Students will locate a quiet space to work/listen to the lesson. If the location is their bedroom, they may not join class from inside their bed. They may sit on top of their bed.
Student backgrounds must be appropriate. For any students wishing to use a virtual background, school administration or teachers can provide guidance on this.
Student avatars must be appropriate.
During Class:
Cameras must be turned on during class meetings; students needing exceptions should communicate those needs with their teachers.
Students will not sign off of live meetings until dismissed by the teacher.
Live lessons will not be recorded by the teacher, so students are responsible for catching up on all material discussed in class just as they would for in-person classes. Students also are not permitted to record live lessons from home.
During assessments, students will be required to have their cameras on and will not be allowed to use headphones.
Students will mute themselves during all video chats when they are not speaking.
Students will not take their devices to the restroom.
Students will not use other digital devices during class aside from the one they are using for remote learning; there should be no texting among students while class is in session.
In-Person

All students will wear their masks at all times. Masks must be appropriate according to the school dress code.
All students will stay in their assigned seats.
All students will remain at least six feet apart.
Students may not touch others’ belongings.
Students may not circulate around the room.
Students may not eat or drink in class; students needing exceptions should communicate those with their teachers, and will be permitted to eat or drink outside the class in a designated portion of the building.

Students will log onto their video chats during all hybrid classes with their microphones muted unless they are speaking.
