Mrs. Scelzo's Classroom

Dear Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! My name is Kathleen Scelzo, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year in our ABA preschool classroom. This will be my third year teaching in the Westfield School District, and before that, I spent 11 wonderful years working in the Hoboken School District.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Teaching is truly my passion, and I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where every child can grow and thrive.

A little about me personally—I am married and have two children: a 7-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old son, who will also be attending Lincoln School this year. As a parent myself, I understand the importance of communication and teamwork, and I look forward to working closely with you to support your child’s success.

I would describe myself as patient, kind, and energetic, and I truly can’t wait to get to know each of your children and celebrate all the progress they will make this year. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns—I am always here to help and support your family.
