Dear 2K Parents,
Welcome to second grade in 2K! I am looking forward to meeting you and your child soon and expect the coming year to be a great one! Below are suggested supplies needed at this time. Scroll down to see the items that are included in the School Tool Box if you ordered it. The items that should be purchased separately are listed as well. Please pack your child's healthy snack in a separate bag from his/her lunch and write his/her name on it. Snacks are stored separately from lunches. Thank you in advance for your support, help and excitement!
Parents: I'm setting up an email list for important updates throughout the year. I will send a test email and also send a paper reminder home. If you don't receive my email by Sept 8, please let me know. Thank you!
LEARNING SUPPLIES:
*box of 24 crayons (Twistables are great!)
*2 red pens
*three or four glue sticks (writing initials on the lids is very helpful!)
*box of pre-sharpened pencils (have some at home also)
*two erasers
*highlighter marker
*four fine tip black dry erase markers
*two folders with two pockets. Please choose different colors (plastic preferred) for the folders. Please write your child's name on each and one should be labeled Take Home. Homework, etc. will go back and forth in this folder
*one box of sharpened colored pencils (Crayola 24 pack are good)
*one pair of children's scissors (Fiskars are a great brand)
*1 pack of 4 in. x 4 in. lined Post-Its
*1 Marble composition book
*pencil box (about 5 inches wide by 8 inches long)
*Headphones
*one old sock to erase whiteboard with or a small whiteboard eraser
*Transparent ruler (inches and centimeters)
*two personal pencil sharpeners with a container to catch shavings
*backpack WITHOUT wheels (they will not fit in the coat closet if they have wheels)
*small container of hand sanitizers for your child to keep in his/her snack bag and lunch box
DONATIONS FOR CLASS:
* box of tissues (you can send in any time during the year! Thank you!)
*Gallon and/or quart ziplock bags with EZ zip closure

1 box of sharpened colored pencils (Crayola Twistables preferred)
3 folders with pockets w/o clasp (red, blue, yellow)
1 pair of kids scissors

3 large glue sticks
1 box of 24 crayons
2 large pink erasers
1 highlighter marker
6 fine tip black dry erase markers
1 pack of Post It notes (3"x3" Lined)
1 ruler with inches and centimeters (preferably transparent and flexible)
1 hard cover marble composition book (wide ruled)
Plastic pencil box (about 5” by 8”)
