This is my 11th year at Roosevelt, and 16th overall as a middle school teacher. Education is my second career; after graduating Penn State with a degree in English, I first worked as a full time journalist.
My work took me from the Jersey shore to New York City and Los Angeles. I've written about everything from local politics and college sports to the global financial markets and entertainment industry.
My goal is to infuse our classroom lessons with the lessons and experiences from my professional writing career.
