Maggie Fatsis is a dedicated and passionate music educator at Westfield Public Schools, where she teaches orchestra at McKinley, Tamaques, and Wilson Schools. With ten years of experience in Westfield, Ms. Fatsis has made a significant impact at the elementary and intermediate levels, teaching band, orchestra, and classroom music. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Delaware and a Master of Music Education in Pedagogy from the University of Hartford, The Hartt School.
Before joining Westfield Public Schools, Ms. Fatsis taught band, orchestra, and classroom music on Long Island, honing her skills in diverse musical disciplines. Ms. Fatsis also enjoys sharing her expertise through private clarinet lessons and performing with ensembles like the Westfield Community Band. Outside of her professional life, she is an avid reader, beach lover, traveler, crochet enthusiast, and ukulele player, bringing a well-rounded and enthusiastic approach to her teaching and personal interests.
