Course Description: Precalculus Advanced
Students extend and strengthen their knowledge of elementary functions while studying advanced mathematics topics such as trigonometry, conic sections, polar coordinates, vectors, matrices, probability, sequences and series. Mathematical modeling is used to represent real-world situations and solve problems. The interdisciplinary nature of mathematics is emphasized by applications to science and technology.
