I have been teaching in Westfield since 1996 (where did the time go?).  I have taught grades K-3, both in the classroom and as an Achieve basic skills teacher.  Every child is unique, so I strive to meet my students' individual needs while establishing a classroom climate of collaboration, curiosity, cooperation, friendship, and fun.  My goal is to foster a love of reading and learning within each student, as well as an appreciation for each other and our planet.  One of the best parts of my career is watching students grow and develop into independent young people after our year together is over.

I hold a bachelor's degree in elementary education and English from TCNJ, and a master's degree in instruction and curriculum.  I am also trained in the Responsive Classroom model.

I live in Middlesex County with my family.  My son James is a high school senior this year, and my daughter Allison is in sixth grade.

It is a privilege to work with your children each day!
